No it doesn’t stop next to Wootton. The closest stop is Darnestown and Research which is a mile away from Wootton and more than 2 miles away for kids who live next to Villages of Rockville for example. The only Wootton kids close enough to walk to the stop are those who live along Hurley. [/quote]

Maybe walking 2 miles is a short distance for you because you are an enthusiast of Scandinavian speed walking, but for most normal people walking 2 miles takes 40 minutes. The shortest public transportation option from the Villages to Crown is 56 minutes. These are kids in the current walk zone to Wootton. The current walk zone includes 541 student, who will now be walking 2 miles before hopping on a bus. I am sure you are loving it, given that you walk miles and miles every day, but for most normal people it’s not doable because they have things to do. [/quote]
