NVA really handed that game to SYC. Their first goal was off a PK. NVA had 4 or 5 shots on goal in the first have that they should have scored. Then an NVA own goal off corner, the rest basically all defensive error on NVA's part. NVA also missed a PK and threw away a free kick opportunity. SYC didn't even seem too strong in my opinion and definitely didn't play pretty soccer. But, they handled business where it counted and were much more physical.[/quote]

"Pretty soccer" is all fine and well but, in the end, results do matter.  A "dirty" goal counts just as much as a beautiful one.

NVA 11s are being sacrificed for the 10s and 12s. Hopefully we retool next year but not holding our collective breath.
