SYC didn't even seem too strong in my opinion and definitely didn't play pretty soccer. But, they handled business where it counted and were much more physical.
"Pretty soccer" is all fine and well but, in the end, results do matter. A "dirty" goal counts just as much as a beautiful one.
Cue all the parents/trolls/interested parties to have to say they don't care about anything but their kids learning to play beautiful soccer. Yeah right. That's why so many here are complete lunatics.
I agree with you SYC parent, a win is a win and you guys won it. But the coach does not care about winning and that's what is driving everything that is happening to the nva 11s right now.
NVA 11s are being sacrificed for the 10s and 12s. Hopefully we retool next year but not holding our collective breath.
