It's also saddening when puberty blockers are government/state covered but IVF is not covered by insurance. It's saddening when poisonous food dyes and high prescription drug prices are addressed by President Trump instead of the two previous Democrat presidents. It's not discussed often enough that on some core issues (foreign and domestic), Trump is actually moving the Republican Party to the left.
You need to do more research on drug prices during each administration. Do you remember the backlash when Michelle Obama fought for kids to eat healthier at school? You people threw an absolute fit and thought it was a complete overreach. You insisted that our tax dollars continued paying for junk food in schools because that’s all your kids would eat. But now you are suddenly health nuts? I’m a teacher, and I watched our lunchroom go from serving slop every day to offering a beautiful garden bar where kids had several fresh fruits and vegetables to choose from. And yes, they ate them. Kids generally love fresh fruit. And they will eat most fresh veggies if they can dip them in a little bit of ranch. I know ranch isn’t healthy, but it is way better than canned/processed crap, and they were only given a very small amount. It was honestly so weird to witness that every day - kids at school chowing down on fresh fruits and veggies while republicans were crying about it like it was the end of the world. Listen, I hate the way this country eats. I hate that our food is full of dyes, sugar, and chemicals. RFK is a complete nutjob, but if he manages to make our food healthier, that would certainly be a silver lining.
