Are you serious ?

Minor rise in minor crime, but nothing like your post suggests. I know that the AU area CVS has issues and some car break-ins, but still very safe 24 hours a day.

Have you lived here for 4 years ? If so, could you please share some examples that reflect your post ?

No, I didn't ignore your post; I just haven't read the whole thread & have not experienced any significant rise in crime beyond broken car windows.[/quote]

last year a gun fight between two groups apparently took place right in front of the entrance of JR HS (as holes to parked cars showed) less than 30 min before dismissal (when almost  2000 kids leave the school, along the nearby 1500 at Deal, more at Jenney and so on). both my kids (at JR and Deal) ended up in lockdown, the one at JR texting that they were on the floor in class and so on. this was a 3.45pm right in Tenley.
