+100. I got in a DCUM argument with someone a year or two ago about our DCPS bilingual vs. MV. I sometimes wonder how that poster is doing and whether they’re still at MV…[/quote]

Eh, it's not one or the other. Some people have convinced themselves their IB is no good and will got to a charter or private no matter what. Other people know for a fact that their IB doesn't meet their needs, whether because they've already sent a child there or because they have more intimate familiarity with it. It can go both ways.

That wasn’t my point and of course no school is perfect for everyone. The point was the arrogance and insistence that of course MV was better than a lowly DCPS and DCPS parents are at best short sighted. There are charters we would choose over our current school, MV was not and certainly still is not one of them.[/quote]
