I agree with your statement above and in general, everything is way tooooo PC these days.  People need to get in line sometimes.

However, I also think Musk takes it too far.  I go back/forth on whether I like his type.  Usually it's a no.  I think there are things conceptually he gets right - you have to work for your money.  You have to focus and sometimes it's not sexy, it's not convenient and there are things you do that have rules to them and we forget in this day and age what discipline means.  
The problem is, Musk is so egotistical I can't respect him on any level.  So while I hear what he is saying on some topics, I think his execution, his style and ultimately his goals and interests are too selfish for anyone to admire or even embrace.  He turned into a bad apple.  [/quote]
