That's fair. For me, posting stuff has worked to DCs advantage.  [b]Some of my facebook friends have reached out with invitations to share more about their former schools (which DC got in to)[/b] and/or contacts at the school or inside resources for internships. It would not have happened had I not shared part of the journey.

I'm not the pp you quoted, but I've considered posting on facebook for the reason I bolded above.
My kid is having a hard time deciding between two very different schools (one is a huge SEC school, the other is a medium size private in the midwest.)   I've thought about posting and asking if any of my facebook friends have experience with either school, and could give any insight.[/quote]
