I did not experience any retaliation when I took leave after the birth of my children, and I hope I won't experience any now. But honestly I'm not sure I will have a choice anyway--I have children who are too young to leave home alone, and unless DCPS offers appropriate childcare for them I will have to take leave. [/quote]
