It’s the fault of passengers, collectively, who generally shop for airfares based solely on the lowest possible price, and have created a market where the only business model that works is cattle-car-in-the-sky. Airlines are a brutally low-margin and capital intensive business, and if people were actually willing to pay a bit more for comfort and quality, things might be different. But there aren’t. We have collectively chosen this and have gotten the airlines we deserve.[/quote]
