The teachers are not going to stay. As the one teacher said, this was just one of many issues. Morale is low. The bigger issue is him and until that is fixed, sadly we are going to lose many more. I hope the PTA continues to inform the superintendent regarding the bigger issues here.
You weren't happy with his first email and you aren't happy with his second email. Never happy.
Agree. I use to think we should buy so we could have our kids would go to Haycock, so glad we had better sense not to. Haycock parents are crazy and seem to not be pleased unless the school is being run on their terms. Psychos!
Judging from your eloquent prose and mastery of grammar (read: sarcasm), I think you would have benefitted from a Haycock education.
You are really digging your own hole here with your come back comments. Especially after YOU bashed parents for supposedly being crazy. I guess its not just the "Haycock" parents.
DP here. It doesn't seem like parents speaking up for what they believe to be in the best interests of the school's students and teachers means the inmates are running the asylum. That's what PP keeps trying to imply, just so she can take a dig at Haycock. I don't have kids there, but I drive by the school regularly. You can tell the parents are engaged, and there are a lot of new houses being built near the school. There's literally a lot of investment in that community, and it shouldn't surprise anyone that the parents aren't passive types who'll just roll over because the principal woke up one morning and decided he wanted change, especially for reasons that he apparently wasn't able to articulate very well.
