They know who killed jonbenet. A grand jury voted to indict the parents for child endangerment. The evidence very clearly points to abuse by her brother and her parents covering it up. But yes, police completely mishandled the initial crime scene and investigation.[/quote]

This is true but my point stands that because the police botched the entire investigation from minute one because they’re hapless idiots, there’s no formal resolution to that case nor any justice. There won’t be in Nancy’s situation either. They do not know who did it and are not any closer to knowing than they were in January. [/quote]
