Don’t know if this has already been posted, but more good news from Israel! “ Research on the Pfizer vaccine from Israel – the country that has vaccinated the biggest proportion of its population so far – appears to back up the trial data. Evidence showed that just 0.04 per cent of people who received two doses of this jab developed Covid. And a separate study comparing vaccinated and unvaccinated people found that the vaccine offered 92 per cent efficacy. Further good news is that it looks like the vaccine stops transmission - an Israeli study found recipients built up so many antibodies they would be unlikely to pass the virus on.” The actual study seems to be behind a paywall, but here’s the article: https://www.telegraph.co.uk/global-health/science-and-disease/oxford-vaccine-vs-pfizer-moderna-astrazeneca-covid-compared/
The transmission part is especially heartening! It seems to follow what several infectious disease specialists are saying, that based on how other vaccinations work, transmission shouldn’t happen, or at least be greatly reduced.
