They can say that their business plan is effective and some programs are succeeding..hmmmmm- how many kids are registered for the club, and programs compared with previous years? #'s do not lie ... 
I would have had more respect for the board if they would have taken ownership and stepped aside before it got this desperate so that a new board could attempt to clean this up and save our club.
