You keep keep banging one drum the loudest, and that is that you think welfare reform was an anti-feminist act of such magnitude that it completely undermines all the other work (voluminously cited by PPs) that Hillary has done for women. So you can perhaps understand how you come across as defining feminism solely in relation to welfare.[/quote]

I think that welfare reform was the Clintons most specific blow to women but they have done much harm to the working class as well and if you research the impact of global trade agreements on third world women it is pretty distressing. It's a complicated matter because the Clintons have consistently been on the side of corporations and the super wealthy. Sure, you can say that HRC supports reproductive freedom and some other interests specific to women but so does Bernie Sanders and he does so while looking out for the economic interests of the American people. The Clintons are not looking out for the economic interests of those less fortunate. [/quote]
