PP here-I am not giving up my values really-I am pro gay marriage, pro choice, anti illegal immigration, think something needs to be done about welfare-like major reforms (and no goodies for illegals), I think we need to help educate and support our OWN citizens, including children, homeless, vets, mentally ill, physically ill etc...before we start dropping millions of dollars on other countries. I also think our borders need to be secured-tightly. If we want to help the disadvantaged from 3rd world countries, I am all for it.  Empower them in their OWN countries so they can sustain themselves in their OWN countries.  Taking in Syrian refugees, for example does nothing except drain our resources, and nothing to help their OWN country.  I think all the PC bullshit that is so rampant everywhere, will destroy this country, and the Black Lives Matter movement is nothing more than a smokescreen.  Americans need to get up, wake up and work hard to improve themselves and this county.  Hiding behind excuses of being victimized, and "offended", and kept down by the big bad "white man" is getting old.  I like Carson more than Trump-but either would have my vote.  Obama (whom I ignorantly voted for with such high hopes), has proven to be a disaster for this county....a MAJOR disaster.  I sure hope Trump can make America great again-not too sure anyone else running right now is fully up to the task.

This is how most Trump supporters, and perhaps most Republicans, define terrorism. Some throw in Black Lives Matter protestors too. I've read many direct quotes from Trump supporters recently, and they largely reflect this belief, which in turn fuels the perception that Trump supporters tend toward racism and xenophobia.
