You watch too many Jason Bourne movies. Fortunately the FBI and other law enforcement agencies have a more encompassing and organic definition to account for the homegrown Ted Kazynskis, Timothy McVeighs, Eric Rudolphs and Dylan Roofs.

I guess your parents know about incidents like this illegal Arab man caught stockpiling ammo:

What about this guy stockpiling guns and ammo?

Not one thing done about the everyday terrorist threats that are NOT coming from Muslims.

This "illegal Arab man" entered the country on a student visa. Conservatives can't figure out whether to be aroused or shit themselves when a Muslim on the country illegally is arrested on a weapons charge.

Hmmm, I wonder how he was able to buy the weapons and ammunition, FLORIDA?

Anonymous wrote:This weekend I read an article in the Economist that condescendingly referred to Trump's supporters as "wrinklies." This made me, a 30-something liberal female attorney, so mad! How dare the writers of the Economist disrespect the american voter! In a democracy, the government listens to the people and not the other way around. The liberal elite should not be allowed to impose their own version of the rule of law on America. Over the last twenty years the First Amendment has been almost completely obliterated by the idea of political correctness. People are afraid to say even the simplest things for fear of being misunderstood. Hell, saying "Merry Christmas" is no longer socially acceptable. Laws are enforced at will, or not at all, and the liberal elite feels entitled to disrespect the average Americans, off whose backs they make their living. And this is precisely why people support Trump - because he does not seek to "improve" or "educate" an average voter, but instead shows him respect and actually listens to their opinions - something that, you know, in a democracy, an elected representative is supposed to do.

I read the article as well. It was a dissection of a Trump event in Sarasota at which the majority of attendees were retirees in their dotage. I did not interpret the term wrinklies as a perjorative, but rather a setup for the juxtaposition of senior citizens enjoying their retirement -- not to mention Social Security and Medicare -- in a carnival-like atmosphere (complete with a real-life pachyderm graffitied in chalk with the Trump campaign mantra) with Trumps
'S message of despair about the hapless state of our Nation under Obama. I particularly enjoyed the professed Christian who apparently believed there were lots of things she couldn't say, including "Merry Christmas." The only point missing was the number of these wrinklies with mobility scooters who were regular Fox Newsvviewerd who viewed the US and rest of the world through that distorted prism. Like it or not, Trump's support skews elderly and otherwise lower income and less educated.

I also think our borders need to be secured-tightly. If we want to help the disadvantaged from 3rd world countries, I am all for it. Taking in Syrian refugees, for example does nothing except drain our resources, and nothing to help their OWN country. I think all the PC bullshit that is so rampant everywhere, will destroy this country, and the Black Lives Matter movement is nothing more than a smokescreen. Americans need to get up, wake up and work hard to improve themselves and this county. Hiding behind excuses of being victimized, and "offended", and kept down by the big bad "white man" is getting old. I like Carson more than Trump-but either would have my vote. Obama (whom I ignorantly voted for with such high hopes), has proven to be a disaster for this county....a MAJOR disaster. I sure hope Trump can make America great again-not too sure anyone else running right now is fully up to the task.

+1 Donald Trump is not a perfect candidate, but HRC is even worse. She has no new ideas from Obama. Trump tells it like it is. Close to 100% terrorist attacks are committed by Muslims, we need a temporary ban.

Well I guess it depends on how you define a terrorist attack. The kid who shot up the black church in SC was a terrorist in my book.

Also the church arsons in the South, the Planned Parenthood shooting, the people demonstrating outside the Irving TX mosque with assault rifles . . .

The only way that 100% of terrorist attacks are by muslims is if you define terrorist attack as "things committed by muslims".

This is how most Trump supporters, and perhaps most Republicans, define terrorism. Some throw in Black Lives Matter protestors too. I've read many direct quotes from Trump supporters recently, and they largely reflect this belief, which in turn fuels the perception that Trump supporters tend toward racism and xenophobia.

Be honest, you are a single issue voter, not a Democrat

I could care less whether I should label myself a Democrat. I have voted mostly democratic. We need an outsider this time around.

Are you trying to say the opposite of what your mean, or is that what you mean?

Yes. Just like Reagan. Maligned as an idiot, but appealing to the working man.

I was wondering where the Regan worshippers were
