Lots of self praise for being chosen Key Note at Google Ed summit.

Other notes:
Parent: have you reached out to other schools or districts for lessons learned?
Admin: That can't be! Google classroom just launched and WE are one of the first schools to implement.

Parent: why the games? Admin: We have 50% kids from below the poverty line who, for some, the Chromebook is the only electronic device in their family. We had a child who didn't know how to type an uppercase letter!!! "We have shattered the digital divide."

2 Parents : our kids get distracted by students playing online games in class
Admin: your child needs to tell the teacher. 
My thoughts, yeh what MS kid is gonna snitch on classmate?

Parent: Are you screening logs for inappropriate content?
Admin: We don't have that capacity, we rely on parents to tell us.
