They still pay income taxes, payroll taxes,  sales taxes, excise taxes, property taxes on vehicles, etc., and, if you understand economics, renters pay property tax indirectly because the landlord includes the cost of the property tax in the rent price. [/quote]

They get free medical care and schooling at the expense of American taxpayers, I understand the desire to do better for your family but either we have laws as a country or we don't. Resources are not infinite, people are simply fed up, Americans have been generous for a very long time but it's not sustainable. When mom, dad, three kids or more, and grandma, grandpa and others live in a cheap apartment, mobile home or small rental, they are not paying the anount in taxes needed to support their medical care, birth of more babies, and all the supports they receive in the puvlic schools. .
