Minneapolis Mayor Melvin Carter earns $140K/year (plus benefits). [twitter]https://x.com/melvincarter3/status/1795994220387307734[/twitter] Plumbers, journeymen, dishwashers and construction contractors get to pay off his student debt.
There are people working in those positions for nonprofit orgs, hospitals, school districts, etc getting student loan forgiveness via PSLF. You realize trade schools suck in massive amounts of student loans, right?
What about the people who did not participate? Why do they have to pay for the loans of the people who took out the loans?
You have a choice this year. 1. Vote for the guy who pays back people's loans, who got us out of Trump's horrible policies, low unemployment and isn't a total Traitor to the US. 2. Or you can vote for Don the Con treasonous snake Russian-owned Project 2025 installment. This is your last chance to vote if you vote for Don the Con so good luck if that is what you choose. Because Donnie the Dictator is never leaving office never ever and he will rape the US Treasury & all of your social securities monies blind. But hey you got the right to vote in November have at it.
He doesn't pay back people's loans! <----- That's the whole point. He transfers the debt to income tax payers. How thick-headed do you have to be not to grasp this simple point?
DP... How thick headed do you need to be to not grasp points like, having a well-educated populace is good for business and industry, it is good for the economy, it increases research, innovation and productivity, it increases economic output and growth, it helps attract investment, it improves economic stability, it increases global competitiveness, it improves entrepreneurship, it results in lower crime and better public health... All of which also in turn contribute to the tax base which helps pay for it. Meanwhile, the reasons why people should not be well educated are... control of information, as a poorly educated populace is more easily manipulated and disinformed; worker exploitation, wages can more easily be suppressed, and other reasons, all of which are selfish and bad for the country.
Where is your evidence that college provides a good education, let alone one that leads to improved economics? Sending 100 IQ folks to college has been a complete waste of money as evidenced by the low growth rates under both parties of the past 30 years.
