There are people working in those positions for nonprofit orgs, hospitals, school districts, etc getting student loan forgiveness via PSLF. You realize trade schools suck in massive amounts of student loans, right? [/quote]

1. Vote for the guy who pays back people's loans, who got us out of Trump's horrible policies, low unemployment and isn't a total Traitor to the US.

DP...  How thick headed do you need to be to not grasp points like, having a well-educated populace is good for business and industry, it is good for the economy, it increases research, innovation and productivity, it increases economic output and growth, it helps attract investment, it improves economic stability, it increases global competitiveness, it improves entrepreneurship, it results in lower crime and better public health...   All of which also in turn contribute to the tax base which helps pay for it.

Has nothing to do with being well educated or not. In fact, educational expenses have skyrocketed much more quickly than any other industry except medical care.

I do not believe that you necessarily get a better education at an Ivy League vs. a State University vs. a Community College.

If fact, those institutions are abusing their status and often providing diplomas that cannot be monetized in many different subjects.  Then the tax payer gets to foot the bill because the graduate complains they can't make enough to pay the student loan.

On top of that, educational institutions see that and they push tuition up even faster to soak up all that free money from the tax payer.  That kills the signal from the market to the institution that enough is enough and it becomes a vicious cycle with politicians trying to respond to a market with a complete lack of signaling from the end consumer and payer.  It's a bad situation made worse by politicians to wave a magic wand and transfer debt to people who have the least say in the whole damn thing. It's really getting to be nonsense.
