Ummm you know that OJ infamously said he wasn’t black, he was OJ, and was chummy with the police before the murders, right? OJ absolutely was not in fear the police would kill him. FFS, they let him lead them on a never ending slow speed chase and return to his home unharmed. Whatever larger point you’re trying to make about the relationship between the Black community and the police really can’t be made with OJ as your example. [/quote]

OJ was on the cover of Jet Magazine with his first black wife and kids. That’s an all black publication and he did this at his peak.  He also donated and was very philanthropic to black causes.

He was an athlete not a politician. What does his one dumb comment “I’m not black, I’m OJ”, which really means he wanted to be seen as a person not a color , and being  chummy with police have to do with the fact that he probably was spooked and scared that day of the chase? The drive and the suicide note was one of someone who thought his life was over .  Frantic behavior like this doesn’t mean he killed anybody . It could just mean he was terrified and knew he’d be a suspect [/quote]
You’re moving the goalposts. Sure we can agree OJ was freaked out, but it was not because he thought the police were going to kill him. He was freaked out because he killed 2 people and knew that his life as he knew it, beloved sports icon who had also transcended sports, was over. [/quote]

This is speculation and can’t be used in a court of law however. The evidence is all that matters and the detective botched things. Ron’s defensive wounds  imply he fought a very very strong  fight with his attacker . No leather gloves would survive such a vicious defensive fight and stab attack. The scene leads me to believe multiple killers.

Clearly you’ve drank the kool aid, but you are also (inaccurately) speculating that OJ was freaked out because he was scared of the police or something. You are allowed in court to argue as to the inferences that can be drawn from such a flight, and I think the prosecutors made a mistake in not introducing the chase. Ron wasn’t armed, neither was Nicole, so while I’m sure Ron valiantly fought back, that wouldn’t have destroyed the gloves. Ron did manage to cause a glove to come off and OJ to get cut on the same hand the glove came off  
of though and leave drops of blood as he left the crime scene. I don’t completely discount the idea that there was someone else with OJ, hey he even “hypothetically” acknowledges that in that ridiculous “If I Did It” interview. 47 year old, 6 foot 1 inch OJ filled with rage was not some weak, debilitated old man. Ron and Nicole weren’t even in a relationship. They were platonic friends- something even the Goldman family says. Why would he kill Nicole and Ron if he were this rage  filled jealous monster? Ron wasn’t even her boyfriend .

6 foot 1 inch OJ was fat, had  a wobbly knock kneed gait, Arthritis in the joints from years as an athlete, had turned to golf in old age, and he was once  so afraid of blood on the scene of a movie  that  the director thought he was too easygoing to play a believable villain  . He was not as fit as Ron Goldman who was in his 20’s. Do you know what a martial artist trained in self defense can do? The minute he was on Nicole, Ron would’ve came from behind and choked him to death or at  least ran to the kitchen to grab a kitchen knife and call 911. The scene only makes sense to me if there were multiple killers.  [/quote]
I think Ron came upon OJ murdering Nicole, hence the glasses he was returning being found with the bodies. He was the epitome of wrong place, wrong time. OJ was already in a frenzy, and Nicole was probably dead by the time Ron happened on the scene. Just as you’re over exaggerating OJs physical decline at that time, I think you’re also over exaggerating Ron’s physical abilities in the face of an armed OJ Simpson in a frenzy. [/quote]

That makes even less sense to me. You don’t just stumble upon a stabbing like that. Who would have opened the door? Did he have a Key to the house ?  He didn’t know Nicole for that long. They weren’t intimate. I believe he was her dealer and he stopped by to drop off a package
