Not sure who this pp is talking about, but one thing is for certain, no player who wants a legitimate shot at a national title would pick UVA, especially after the recent coaching change. UNC, Northwestern, BC, Syracuse, Denver, JMU, Notre Dame, Florida, Maryland, Loyola, and Stony Brook are the women’s lacrosse power schools for at least the next several years, and most of those are similar or better academically.[/quote]

It means the original poster who complained UVA doesn’t take “standout” in-state public school players likely wanted interest from UVA for his DD because it’s a better academic in-state option. Why else would he have complained about it? When the love from UVA wasn’t there, he likely settled for JMU because he wanted in-state to save money (which explains why he’s bashing UVA recruiting and “way down” ranking of #18). How am I doin?[/quote]
