My quick assessment of this woman is that she is nuts. She had an instagram page for her dog and she documented several injuries to her dog. I think she hurt him herself. She does deserve to be publicly embarrassed. Let's see what she did, I am sure I am missing some too: 1. She's a f*ing racist to say a black man was threatening her 2. pulling out the ol' woman vs. man dynamic (for everyone who says to always believe the 'victim'). 3. choking the poor dog and having him off leash 4. making a false 911 call.
The problem with the bolded is that she was basically throwing him in front of the firing squad. This was "execution by cops" and she knew it. She set in motion a chain of events that would have made this man lose his life if he had not left the area. That is pretty extreme and messed up course of action. She was not scared of the "Big Black Man". If she was really scared of a burly Black Man she would have immediately leashed the dog and left the area. She would have tried to de-escalate and remove herself from that situation. She certainly would not have gone near him or told him that she will make a false statement to the police. Doing that is opposite of de-escalation. I am a woman. I have been in situations where I have been scared and uncomfortable because I was alone in an area with "disreputable looking" men around. Guess what I did? I quickly left that area. At no point I was trying to go near the men, telling them that I will make a false statement about them to the police.
