Trump shares Hitler’s instincts and desires. Fortunately, Trump is far less competent and disciplined.
If only the idiots who are hung-up on Trump-Hitler comparisons were as loud about post-2008 austerity being like post-WWI austerity, we wouldn’t be talking Trump.
Yes, let’s completely derail the topic at hand to discuss “austerity” or more specifically things like banking reforms necessary at the time to rein in the mess of the 2008 crash which caused billions in losses. Were you sad to see the loss of interest only, negative amortization, or no doc no income loans and tightened access to credit from banks so they could loan money for janitors in Florida to buy $900,000 houses anymore? Or maybe we can analyze how trump’s nationalist rhetoric is similar to hitlers again.
No - new poster. But I am tired of my bank getting TARP money while they called all my loans because it turns out they were completely over-leveraged. I am tired of trying to resolve the resultant litigation when the CEO of the bank is appointed to the state commission that sets judges salaries. And then after the work out I should live in austerity. So, yes, this poster has a very valid point. Multiple my experiences and guess what you get a Trump.
