What does, “at least they’re playing out there” mean? They’re supposed to be an “elite team”. Why wouldn’t they be playing? They travel early to get prepared, doesn’t seem like they were. They lost in a 3-0 shutout. Not exactly elite.

In the age group I care about (2004), the only local teams to qualify for playoffs in either league were Spirit MD and FCV.  ECNL is really poor in this area for that particular age group.  Those are the girls who were the most screwed by the introduction of the DA two years ago and the mess that happened as a result.  [/quote]

I think the same is true across most age groups 04 and down. 03 and up were in place before the DA came along and teams stayed together.[/quote]

2 local 05 teams qualified for ecnl playoffs and an 06. 06 won their division.[/quote]
