One of those that qualified for the playoffs lost to the next to last team in the DA division.
The 06 teams seems to be good, but hard to tell coming out of the MA in ECNL.

At least they’re playing out there. Travel is tough. No I’m not an fcv parent.
What does, “at least they’re playing out there” mean? They’re supposed to be an “elite team”. Why wouldn’t they be playing? They travel early to get prepared, doesn’t seem like they were. They lost in a 3-0 shutout. Not exactly elite.
Meaning at least they qualified for the playoffs. Give it a rest. If your dd’s team did not qualify for da or ecnl playoffs then save it.
In the age group I care about (2004), the only local teams to qualify for playoffs in either league were Spirit MD and FCV. ECNL is really poor in this area for that particular age group. Those are the girls who were the most screwed by the introduction of the DA two years ago and the mess that happened as a result.
I think the same is true across most age groups 04 and down. 03 and up were in place before the DA came along and teams stayed together.

Don't start with the buts, ifs, or ands, can we be more realistic about what these coaches out here are doing and the BS they are filling parents heads with? Because driving to a gym plus not showing well is going to be a tough sale when parents finally put two and two together.
