I am sorry, but from what I have read all the prominent Jewish leaders in the District acccepted his initial apology.  Then the holocaust museum tour went very badly (I mean really?)   Now this (and is a donation to NOI needed for W8 to get food?)

The Nation of Islam provides a range of social services in Ward 8 including distributing food. While those services are not contingent upon a $500 donation, they would end if the NOI was not allowed to continue its work in DC.

It's not uncommon for extremists groups to mix social services with their less savory activities.  For example, Hamas and Hezbollah do a lot of very needed social service work in the areas they control, in addition to their armed activities.[/quote]
