I wouldn’t doubt it at all. It only takes a couple of unhinged people posting prolifically to really set the tone of a thread. You see it in the politics forum a lot. You can tell by writing style. I also think someone popping up very so often and saying “wow so many complaints must be really bad there” is the same poster. There are some crazy parents in this little neck of the woods. There is money but not a ton of athletic talent. Parents who weren’t high level athletes can’t seem to grasp that money doesn’t buy talent. You either got it or you don’t. If you keep signing your unathletic child up for Valor that’s on you. An athletic kid can make improvements even with crappy coaching just from repetition. If your kid hasn’t improved for several years on a lower Valor team it’s time to rethink travel soccer. Sorry the truth hurts.[/quote]

Yeah not everyone is chronically online like some of you wack jobs. I live in the area. Things said on here are said out loud in the community not just at games/practices/anonymous message boards. Keep coping harder. I know a few Valor parents posting on here in defense of the club that are just as quick to talk crap about valor in private. My assumption is the only reason they're there is that they couldn't get on better teams elsewhere while masking it as their player just really loves the community and kids they play with will while never mentioning the actual club being good.[/quote]

Um, you might want to look in the mirror because you are clearly a wack job.  The club is no different than any other club in the area, top team gets preferential treatment.  Bottom teams are formed for those that want to play travel, but need improvements to move up.  Parents are typical FFX parents in that some are chill, some think their kids are awesome, and some are just odd.  I've had kids play for a few teams in the area and I can tell you they are all the same, but different.  Meaning you will like things about Valor and hate others, just like at any other club.  This means it's a great fit for some and not for others. This is about as honest of opinion you will get, if winning is your primary goal then go tryout for Arlington, Bethesda, etc.  [/quote]
