My daughter -- 7 years old -- has been making Easter decorations for two weeks and preparing for the big Easter dinner we normally host, with grandparents and cousins and aunts and uncles. She is actually excited about Easter Mass. She wants to hunt for Easter eggs and have fun with her cousins. It is [b]heartbreaking[/b] to tell her this might not happen. The President is absolutely correct to say that this crap needs to end by Easter.

Do you realize that when we talk about overwhelmed hospital staff we're talking about patients dying, not just nurses that are a little tired.

PP is perhaps young and never suffered a real loss. i mean who can be heartbroken because of easter plans gone awry? this, as thousands are dying around us. it’s just boggles the mind.[/quote]

+2.  That PP sounds astoundingly selfish and shortsighted.  She also sounds like one of those “magical childhood” proponents. We’ve explained to our 8yo what’s going on, and she gets the sacrifice for the greater good.  She understands that Grandma can’t come visit right from FL now because we don’t want to get her sick, or anyone else.[/quote]
