The school is beefing up outreach and advertising to convince more Spanish-speakers to enter, and improving the curriciulum for kids who arrive speaking little or no English to boost retention. But we are resigned to having fewer Spanish-speaking Hispanic kids offered spots than in the past. We can't fight City Hall as well as most of you seem to think! [/quote]
