Southern AZ is (obviously) has an enormous and very active border patrol - they are often brought in to assist with cases such as this. On some aspects at least (dogs, tech etc). This is not uncommon at all in border communities. The shooter in Uvalde, TX (a few years ago) was finally taken out by an elite border patrol unit (BORTAC) because they were nearby. [/quote]
