If you limit the list to celebrities that have relatives in Tucson that they actually care about…..the list is quite short.
When I was in HS, the big news was that Gary Shandling had a house in Tucson. He was our huge local celebrity. It’s not like LA.

The sheriff seems all over the place. Doesn’t inspire confidence.

I saw the law enforcement spokesperson interviewed today and he did not seem to be confirming that the blood story.

Southern AZ is (obviously) has an enormous and very active border patrol - they are often brought in to assist with cases such as this. On some aspects at least (dogs, tech etc). This is not uncommon at all in border communities. The shooter in Uvalde, TX (a few years ago) was finally taken out by an elite border patrol unit (BORTAC) because they were nearby.

A lot of older people (most of whom have lived there for a long time) + families with older kids or teens/college aged kids. Not a popular neighborhood for young families and the home values have increased like crazy over the last 10yrs or so. Not a lot of turnover.
