If you think this poster is making this up, you must not have a Tesla. I've had two and was shocked at the insurance costs, with a perfect driving record. There is also the much higher registration cost in VA. I've had to pay $162 per year. I will say we haven't had to make any repairs, but the current one is brand new so i don't anticipate it. But I've been researching them for enough years to be well aware of the repair costs and they are HIGH.[/quote]
