Trick question, he will be given a bailout if stock goes too low.

BYD release self drive all the way down to their mid level brands($13,500 cars). Tesla was planning to charge a subscription service for this($9k a month).
BYD announced 5 minutes charging for 250 miles.
Waymo has over a million self driving hours and product on the street. Tesla is still in the planning stage.
Every big promise is gone with Tesla. Now all they have outdate cars.
That are very expensive to insure and repair.
So you are just making stuff up?

"The electric-vehicle revolution may be on shakier ground than you think
Republican plans to end federal EV tax credits, weaken tailpipe pollution rules and slash funding for charging stations would boost emissions and shut down factories, experts say."
Does not matter the US is like 15% of the car market. The rest of the world is moving on to EVs. Even in the US 10% of cars are EVs. It has already impacted oil demand worlds wide.
Under Biden car manufacturers invested 23 billion in EV factories. 200,000 manufacturing and related jobs tied to these factories. 37 congressional districts 32 of which are hardcore red states will lose these factories. Great way to increase US manufacturing by shutting down plants!
If the US manufacturers do not become competitive in the next 4 years with EVs they will die off. The ICE is at its peak in terms of performance. The energy efficient of the best ICE is 20%. Increasing performance of the ICE will require running generators and have electric motors.
Only two US car manufacturers are in the top 10 world wide. None are in the top 5. EV is the future but the Republican are doing everything they can kill US car manufacturers.
The US car manufacturers will be similar to the UK car manufacturers. Propped up by the US government to preserve industrial manufacturing.

If you think Tesla can wait around 3-5 years to regain its market share without bankrupting, go ahead.
You realize there’s a flip side to this too, right? There are many people like me who are watching the current moment with awe and eternal gratitude and view Elon as a national hero.
I had never even considered buying an EV in the past, but I can say with 100% certainty that my next car purchase will be a Tesla.

The commerce secretary, Howard Lutnick, followed President Trump by supporting Elon Musk, urging people to buy shares in Tesla, Musk’s car company. “It’s unbelievable that this guy’s stock is this cheap. It’ll never be this cheap again,” Lutnick said Wednesday on Fox News.
