Read a comment that really struck a chord:
Dave dropped this bit of info a few hours before the debate. He knew it would get drowned out of the news by the debate and then he got lucky with TS endorsement sucking up all the oxygen. His kids social media accounts were deactivated within minutes. Comments deactivated on Grohl's and FF's social media pages. And then Dave took down his Instagram account last night.

I was wondering why he'd go public on Tuesday, rather than a Friday afternoon at 4pm (per usual with bad news).

This sh#t was highly coordinated.

Eh, I don't think it's about saying open marriages are common or mainstream. It's about saying that a women married to a drinking rockstar is not a damsel in distress who believes her husband is traveling the world and drinking heavily while remaining faithful to her. It almost feels to me like the people painting her as this devastated, downtrodden woman are calling her stupid. Like she's some trad wife who sat at home batting her eyelashes while Dave Grohl walked all over her.

I agree with this. I’m a fan and I read Dave’s book. He is a huge man child and Jordyn has put up with so much over the years.

When I read it in the book there were so many incidents that reminded me of my husband‘s college roommate. But he was a college kid! Who eventually grew up. With Dave it comes off as very goofy and lovable and fun. Which is why so many people are disappointed.

But yeah, I think ultimately after 25 years his wife knows what she is dealing with. I’m sure this is very hurtful and she doesn’t deserve this, but she is probably not all that shocked.

I’ll add that I’m not convinced this is a new baby. There is some speculation that the child is a little bit older, but I could be wrong.

Doubt he’ll marry the baby mama. My guess is Jordyn told him she’s done.

To be honest, I’m glad his mother isn’t alive to see this. She seemed like a nice woman.

He is. His drinking has picked up recently. You can tell by the slurring in some of his interviews. It's talked about a lot in his subreddit

He hasn’t done an interview since Taylor Hawkins died 2.5 years ago. But yes — he drinks and smokes a ton.

He seems to be wracking up a lot of negatives lately.

You are saying that you would be ok with your dh cheating on you and having a baby outside your marriage. Notice no one is saying she is a weak flower! But, even strong people can be devastated by betrayal. Until they announce that they have an open marriage it is assumed that it was a traditional marriage in that they both said they would 'forsake all others' and not have children with other men or women.
