Some school systems have a student rep on the board. APS doesn't. I think APS could use that perspective. Kids know a lot and have great opinions. [/quote]

I believe he is advocating for student members with voting power for the school board like in Fairfax and Montgomery Counties. Depending on his other positions, Ang may have a decent shot for the nomination. He has no enemies and is a blank slate with some fresh ideas. [/quote]
