Except there's not simply a form to sign. They're (finally!) asking for actual third-party documentation. I think it is highly likely that some offers of admission will indeed be rescinded. It seems quite clear that they awarded the experience factor to anyone who answered yes and will now award it only to those who can provide documentation. There is no doubt that many families answered yes and do not have documentation, and surely for some of them the EF was the difference between admission and non-admission.
They are not asking for 3rd party documentation. They are only asking parents to submit the FARMs form to the middle school. The middle school can ask for documentation, but why would they?
What FARMS form are you referring to? A letter sent from a government agency verifying FARMS eligibility? There's not a form that one can simply fill out willy-nilly.
Exactly. This is now getting ridiculous. People are going any lengths to justify how their kid didn’t get in & how only cheaters got in. TJ is now doing whatever they can to verify the information. You got what you wanted. Verification of low income and its being done. Now just wait and watch. What are you going to do about how there was no proctoring? Many kids/parents may have cheated. Who knows.
It is a race to the bottom. I am poor. No me, I am oppressed. No me. We were taught the way to get out of poverty and bad circumstance was to work hard and persevere. Not beg for freebies. Such an utter sham and destruction of value.
