The middle school start times are ridiculous and I always give my kids the option of just staying home when there is an early dismissal day. It's absurd to catch a 6:40am bus only to rush through an abbreviated day and get out early. No point whatsoever. Those days - IMO - should either be whole days off or full days of school. I let my high schoolers do the same, if they want. I find it so typical that these busybodies would care either way what decisions parents make for their OWN kids, especially when they don't affect anyone else. So bizarre.[/quote]
