Maybe, and that is why we don't discuss rankings with our kids. Usually we'll approach the opposing team parents with an over/under and ask if they want to place bets. Our Lord of the Rankings is on standby in case we find out about player injuries, then we'll handicap and finalize all bets.

Chill out homie. Some parents like to know what they are getting into and where to put their expectations for the final result. Last time I checked, not many kids like to lose but if that is your mantra, I'm fine with that and I'm not going to put you down for it.

Youth soccer is nothing compared to Little League football or AAU basketball. When I see people complain about "rankings" I simply assume the PP has probably never played high level organized sports.
