I've been on phenpro for 3 days. Actually, today is only the 3rd day. And I'm down 3 pounds. For the first time in 5 years, my scale has dipped below 150!!!! I cried tears of joy. Even though I'm still on half-doses, the phen really keeps me from over-eating and from snacking. I'm still eating--so far it's about 1200 calories a day, so nothing drastic. It just helps me eat less--not nothing at all. It also helps the hunger feeling feel... more normal? So I can slow down and make better choices about what I'm eating. Not just grab the first thing I can grab. So far, only 3 days in, however, the biggest difference is probably forcing me off caffeine (which you're not supposed to combine with the phen.) I only drink one cup a day, but I can't really drink it without making it sweet and I think I was, in effect, drinking a candy bar for breakfast every day. So giving that up has made a big difference already.
Wow..that's incredible. I'm seeing Dr. Anchors Thursday and will hopefully start this weekend. I'm 5'4 and 183, wanting to be 140 again. I got down to 150 a couple years ago on a very active exercise (5-6 days a week/2 hours) and low cal diet. Needless to say that was not sustainable. I love to workout but busy work/family life has stood in the way of that level of activity. My hope is that PhenPro will help kick start a process...I have been able to drop to 165 pretty easily, but below that requires a monumental effort... Hope to have a positive experience. How long has it taken most people to lose 40 pounds and/or reach goal weight?
