I got news on Friday that the agency will have to file an appeal (or justification) to proceed with my hiring. And, I'm told the agency head plans to submit the appeal today. So, I'm still in limbo but at least I know the agency is committed to trying to get me on-board. (This is a USDA agency.)[/quote]
