When will people understand that there is no medal for having a miserable existence?

In Germany women get 1 year of maternity leave and they can go back to their jobs. In France it's standard for new mom's to get help at least once a week. Only in a America do people do people brag about their misery and wear it with pride. People in other first world countries prefer to be civilized.

Ha! If only I could be so lucky! Unfortunately, I was born here and our jobs are here, so we must make do with what we have. That doesn't mean that I can't dream though...

And for the record, it doesn't have to be Germany or France, every other first world country treats mothers better than the U.S. [/quote]
