Yeah, Dad should make clear that, while it's totally inappropriate for mom to be saying the things she's saying, it is the case that he loves them and they will always have a home.  Mom is threatening to send them to live with their own father and never let them come back as a [i]punishment[/i].  Think about how messed up that is.  If mom is overwhelmed and needs help, dad should step up for the good of the kids.  If it turns out eventually that custody should be revisited, they can cross that bridge when they come to it (and he should document how much time they spend with him, just in case).  [/quote]
