They don't want to get to know her, because that might challenge their deep misogyny.
Its just boggles my mind that many do not want to know Clinton, neither they want to truly understand Trump's despicable past, yet will claim Trump will save the world from the satanic Hillary.
Being critical of her, or not liking her, does NOT mean you like or support Trump.
You have two choices. If you don't vote Clinton, you are supporting Trump. Actions speak louder than words.
This argument will not work for many of us who will not vote for Hillary and will not vote for Trump either. There was ample evidence that many liberals found Hillary unacceptable as a candidate and yet she was foisted on us by her supporters. Yes, that is how democracy works: she got more votes and won the nomination. Now some liberals and independents may choose not to vote for her or to vote for one of the third party candidates - which is also how a democracy works. The electability of a candidate is an important factor when deciding who to vote for and that should have been given more emphasis when we were selecting a nominee.
Everything you said is true in an ideal world. It even makes sense had the GOP nominated Jeb or Kasich as their candidate. They are reasonable men with decent policies who are not driven by narcissistic ego or bigotism. BUT GIVEN TRUMP is the candidate, if he is elected he will be much worse than George W ever was. Does that serve your principle? Does that serve what Sanders stood for? Trump is antithetical to all things Sanders stood for, antithetical to the very core of this country and even to democracy(he is inciting his supporters to protest if he lost the election). Bravo! Idealism without practicality is worse than a no nothing Trump supporter.
