But anyway, get that out of hte library for your preschooler (31/2 and older, I'd say) and see if they like it!

I love the way the words flow and how the illustrations mesh or extend the words....  so I love both

I love Don and Audrey Wood books (Silly Sally, Piggies, Napping House, Little Mouse and..)

I love Mrs. Biddlebox
I love Little Red Hen makes a pizza by Philemon Sturges as I love the way it turns the traditional story on it's head

I love Jane Yolen's Owl Moon - I could read that twice a night forever.  "when you go owling, you have to be quiet."  and the beauty of the illustrations, how cold it looks, how much of a special treat this is for the child and her father, the wonder and beauty of nature, ohhhhhh.

For younger children, I love Off we Go!  also by Jane Yolen.  She also writes chapter books and those are fabulous but that's another topic.

I must get back to work.  I could do this forever!
