Yep. My second born little son is a soccer phenom. He even plays up in age--on top travel team. Going into 4th grade. He has super self-esteem and doesn't even seem aware most kids are taller---or he doesn't give a shit. Lots of friends, not shy. Filled with 'tude.

He waivers between 16-20% height.

OP here.  I feel like maybe I wasn't clear.  I don't think he is not great at sports because of his height.  He is just a kid who happens to be both (1) short and (2) not especially athletic.  These are two things that are difficult for a boy. [/quote]

I posted previously that I have a short 2nd grader. He isn't especially athletic either. I'd say he is average at sports. He is a great kid with lots of friends. Every single one of his friends is bigger than him. He is loved and we encourage him in his interests. You don't need to be tall to play minecraft or trade pokemon cards.[/quote]
