Lots of immigrants came to this country without knowing any English. Many didn't need to learn English because they settled among others that spoke their language. Their kids learned English and often translated for the parents. None of this is new. None of this should be shocking. If it is, please go to the library and start reading. Also, other groups do this too. I've often had to translate through kids whose parents were... Asian. [/quote]
