Wilmington is a lovely town. There's a film studio/sound stage there you can take a tour of, they have filmed a lot of movies there. 
( you can also check out all the spots in town where they filmed Dawson's Creek)

Wrightsville beach is very cute, you can also check out Kure beach and Carolina beach. [/quote]
