[/quote] This sounds almost exactly like me, except I have 3 kids (youngest two are twins). My summer workout schedule has been crap due to their schedules but normally I workout 3x a week pretty regularly. I've been into sports since I was a kid so it wasn't something I had to pick up as an adult, which probably helped. I'm not sure what strict Paleo folks do and I suspect we're a lot more lax than some; I/we do eat grains, but not a lot of white flours or sugars; if we do rice, it's usually brown rice, bread is whole grain, cereal is usually steel-cut oatmeal, etc. I'm not one of those people who refuses birthday cake or an occasional ice cream cone at the pool, etc. Although, at age 38, I'm starting to feel like my digestive system is getting a lot less, um, tolerant of that stuff than it used to be, ugh.
